The foundation work with the community.

The foundation adopts in letter and spirit - Therapeutic Community Model (TCM) for treatment and care of alcohol and drug user community. The TCM approach is implemented with the assumption that generally, alcohol/drug user understand his/her fellow alcohol/drug user much better than anybody else. Efforts are made for the eligible and willing clients to become service provider rather than just a mere service receiver. Every treated client has an opportunity to become a Volunteer or a Trainee and finally can be a well-trained staff in the centre/ foundation itself. Currently, all the non-technical staffs, volunteers and Trainees who ran the rehabilitation centre and mid-way programmes are from alcohol and drug user community.

The Mid way Home with IGP was constructed and built by the rehabilitated community from the Rehabilitation Centre. It has a 30 bedded dormitory, Bathrooms, Kitchen & Dinning, Work shed and a class room. It is seen as an initiative and achievement design and built by the community itself; the community themselves building the structure with their own hands and running programme which are sustainable. The structure (including the infrastructure) and programme are self-funded and is now sustainable.
